Julie Chen Moonves, who was among the first hosts and moderators for The Talk (a Daytime Emmy Award winning talk show), returned August 5 for the 22nd episode. The true passion of her life was writing and she was awarded an Emmy. In addition, she won an Emmy for hosting as well as an outstanding comedy talk show. The Talk examines contemporary events by looking through the eyes of five hosts. Chen Moonves hosted CBS News the early morning news broadcast The Early Show for a 10 years. Her prior roles included anchoring the CBS Morning News and The Early Show. Chen Moonves and Ted Koppel collaborated for Anatomy of a Riot - a primetime television special that won the Columbia du-Pont award - which looked at what happened during the Los Angeles riots of 1992.
